Customisable Reporting Cycles

19 Aug, 2018 by David Seamans

The Reporting Cycles are independent of the Notifications feature. Reporting Cycles do not affect the operations of Notifications.

Elements can report on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly cycles according to the settings.

It is advisable to understand the nature of the clients business prior to setting the Reporting Cycle.

Some things to consider are:

  • Does the same event happen at the same time every year?
  • Easter may vary from late March to mid April so it may be advantageous to set Retail or Hospitality businesses to weekly reporting.
  • Labor Day is the first Monday in September in Canada but is determined by state in Australia. To compare branches or franchises in all these areas by the holiday requires reporting by day.
  • Is Elements being used for Budgeting purposes? If so, is it important to have the correct number of weeks in a month?

Customisable Reporting Cycles are set based on Business; not by User.

Customisable Reporting Cycles can be changed at any time.
